From April 15 to 19, 2024, Lithosphere LLC conducted a training course for Sakhalin Energy employees on geomechanics and working with the LithoStudio software.

The training was dedicated to geomechanical modeling and sand production analysis.

The Sand Removal module of the LithoStudio software was developed by our company in collaboration with colleagues from Sakhalin Energi and successfully tested at the wells of the Lunskoye field.

On August 14, 2024, our Indonesian partners from PT Gecko Geomekanika Persada successfully held a refresher workshop using our LithoStudio software.

Our company is pleased to announce our participation in the international exhibition ADIPEC 2024, which took place from November 3 to 7 in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. During the exhibition, we showcased our innovative geomechanical modeling software, LithoStudio, and established new business connections with partners and clients from around the world.

We believe that our participation at ADIPEC 2024 has strengthened our position in the global market and expanded our network of cooperation.

Yan Yusupov, the chief geomechanics at Lithosphere LLC, gave a presentation at the IGS International Geomechanical Conference in Kuala Lumpur from November 18−20. His presentation was dedicated to the application of a 4D geomechanical model in order to minimize risks associated with the development of offshore oil and gas fields in Russia during their entire lifecycle.

The presentation received a lot of attention from conference attendees, and the LithoStudio software, which was used for the modeling research, was praised for its functionality.

Lithosphere LLC was successful in presenting its innovative technologies at the International Energy Exhibition IEW2025, held in New Delhi, India from February 11−14, 2025. This event brought together leading representatives from the oil and gas industry worldwide.

We had fruitful meetings with key public and private oil companies in India. Our innovative technologies and comprehensive services sparked great interest and received high praise from specialists. They also expressed their willingness to continue an active dialogue and beneficial cooperation.

India left a lasting impression on us. The country’s rapid dynamics, inexhaustible optimism, and incredible efficiency of its specialists made a lasting impression.

Experts from Lithosphere LLC took part in the specialised conference "Petrophysics XXI", which was held on 17−19 March 2026 in Kazan. This is a key event for professionals in the fields of petrophysics, well logging, well logging interpretation (well logging data interpretation), drilling support, and geomechanics.

The forum brought together leading specialists and practitioners from major oil and gas companies, research centres, and universities to discuss current challenges in reservoir physics and geomechanics.

Lithosphere LLC presented a report titled "Geomechanical Modelling of the Bottomhole Zone of Wells and Quantitative Forecasting of Sand Production". During the presentation, Lithosphere’s experts shared the results of applying quantitative sand production forecasting analysis aimed at minimising risks during the operation of wells in weakly cemented reservoirs.

The presented methodology, implemented in LithoStudio software (an in‑house development by Lithosphere LLC), enables highly accurate prediction of rock failure and sand production — including the start date, interval, volume, and intensity. This, in turn, allows resource users to:

• optimise well operation modes;
• extend the trouble‑free service life of the well stock;
• reduce costs for repair work or replacement of downhole equipment.

The «Petrophysics XXI» conference has once again confirmed its status as one of the main platforms for exchanging experience between the scientific community and energy sector companies. It provided an opportunity to align priorities with colleagues and present our software and methodological solutions — which are already helping to address complex technological challenges at all stages of a field’s lifecycle, from exploration to production.
